Life gives you surprises, indeed!

Continued...

It's difficult to understand ways of God. Sometimes, you make out why things happen and sometimes, you are left in bewilderment once and for all.

Yes, my second pregnancy was very enjoyable, it's just that I hardly could move.
I delivered my babies (both girls) on 14th June at 12.06 and 12.07 p.m. respectively.
I was very happy truly. I love children and seeing two in my hand was a bliss but somehow people around me were not so happy. They kept unnecessarily consoling us for no reason. Some even gave the suggestion to take a third chance for a BOY! We are still living in such a society, no wonder.
My twins were doing almost well. We were discharged on time. It's just that the elder one had to be admitted due to Jaundice.

After two months my MIL left for Patna for some reason for a few days. We were managing on our own with 3 kids. One day all the three kids were not well and we had planned to go to the hospital the next day. Gilu, as I called the younger twin was little unrest. I soothed her, gave her milk and asked her father to pacify her. I somehow got into a nap. My husband laid her beside me and went to our eldest one.

After when I wokr from my elder twin cry, I could see and felt that Gilu was no more.
How could that happen? Why that happened? Still figuring out.

The world is still not the same for me. I delved into the world of spirituality to understnad why and how and the only answer I get is to accept the ways of God. She was here for this much time only, some previous karma, I guess. But She will be my daughter and I miss her everyday...

I pray and wish that my daughters become independent and have the sense to lead and good and peaceful life in this world. I will leave no stones unturned for them

Love you Smit, Shreeja and Shaivi!

Chalo kuch aur naya karte hain!

Chalo kuch aur naya karte hain
Ek sahar chor, naya gaon basane ki tammana rakhte hain
Chalo kuch aur naya karte hain.

Raat tab bhi aayegi, per chand sitaare bhi saath laegi
Diye ka daman thame path per
Roz chala karte hain,
Chalo kuch aur naya karte hain.

Jeevan ki dor, kitni sudirh kitni kamzoor,
Upar se ek chor ishwar ki oor,
Sachhe pathik raaste mein raang bhara karte hain,
Chalo kuch aur naya karte hain.

Jeevan ke rang manch mein,
Apni kalakari ka dam bharte hain
Chalo kuch aur naya karte hain,
Chalo kuch aur naya karte hain.

Life gives you surprises!

Life gives you surprises, indeed!!

Yes, my life has been full of surprises. When I look back and see, so much I have sailed across. I never thought I would be able to make it.
I liked to learn new things, study and read all the time. I was good in studies. My world revolved around books, books and books. After a certain period of time, during my teenage, I got a friend who became my confidante and now my life partner. I had never thought I would marry but at last I got married that too after much hassle.
I was blessed with my baby. We both were working to make our life run and meet all the demands of my little one. After my daughter was 4 years, I thought for a sibling for my child. I was just thinking and not planning at all. But god had different plans. He blessed me with twins, my miracle babies. I cried my lungs out. How will I manage? No human resources and limited finances! It was another surprise. It took time to sink in this news.
Sometimes, I feel happy for the babies and sometimes sad. People say have faith in god.
Now I have left everything to god. He will look after my babies when they are born.
Hoping everything goes well…..
This post will continue after my little buddies come in this world.

Rediscovering Life!

Rediscovering Life

These days everyone is busy. Aren’t they? Busy with studies, busy with work, busy with family… BUSY is the word today. Amidst this busy life, has anyone tried to pause and think over their life? We are caught in the vicious circle of planning and working. We work madly to achieve personal and professional goals. I am not aloof of this vicious cycle but I want to sit and relax with peace of mind thinking and thanking for what the Almighty has blessed me with.
Do we really think that we have full control over our lives? If anybody thinks so, I am afraid that person is wrong.
I want to go on a journey to rediscover myself and my life without leaving my responsibilities. But, of course, with each step becoming a better and peaceful person. Understanding yourself is the first step and understanding others is the second step. I think if you understand both, the life runs smooth with less or no friction.
Saying is always easier, I know. But trying can never harm.

Life is really short. Enjoy with things that give your inner peace and pleasure.
Here are some things, I feel, can make our life better. I am concluding this on the basis of my experiences and also the experiences of people who have been and still are a part of my life.

1. HAPPINESS: What makes you happy? How do you measure happiness? Do things that make you happy. It can be reading books, listening to music, watching TV, spending time with your children, parents, and friends. Believe me; you can surely take out time for these.
2. CONTENTMENT: Contentment is a state of having accepted one's situation and is a form of
happiness only. Be thankful for what you have rather than cribbing over what you don’t have.
3. BUILD RELATIONS: It is very difficult to build strong and good relations. It takes lots of time and patience. Meet and talk to people you like.
4. SPEND TIME WITH CHILDREN: Children are adorable, innocent gifts of god. Spent time with them and their sheer innocence will soothe you deeply.
5. SMILE: Nothing lasts forever, neither good times nor bad times. So smile and let your smile last forever.
6. NEVER GIVE UP: Hard times will always be there. Never give up your courage to fight against all odds. Tests make you strong.
7. HAVE FAITH IN THE SUPREME POWER: Pray and ask for the well-being of your family and other people. Good deeds come back to you always.

We are mere puppets in the hands of god. So, we can just do our ‘Karma’ and leave everything to god. Not everybody is chosen for a difficult work. The best is the chosen one. So, accept it gracefully and get along.
Enjoy the beauty of nature that god has created and stay happy.

O great tree!

The tree!

I am a tree, big, fat and tall
I have many branches,
But leaves are small.
I give you fruits to eat,

And birds a place to rest

Come o dear, let’s be friends

Forever and with all…

Do you have an answer?

Horrible, awful, shameful, villainous…

I know we all are busy; busy with work and busy with our lives. But I am sure whosoever read the headlines today must have been shaken, shaken from inside and must have asked a question, why?
We have seen and suffered several militant attacks from a long time. The recent major one being attack at the Taj Hotel, Mumbai where people were killed mercilessly. This time, at some other place; victims being the little ones.
Who has given rights to these monsters to kill the children and that too in such a barbarous way?

I can feel the pain. It’s beyond explanation. I know life seems to have finished apparently for those parents whose little ones are no more. It’s devastating; beyond repair!
After so much pondering, I realized that these creatures won’t change. They are ready to commit all sorts of heinous crimes that one can never imagine in his/her wildest dreams. Then what can we do? Are we so helpless? Can we only sympathize and pay condolences. Maximum we can do is to condemn the act, that’s it? Who can stop these beasts who find bliss in violence?

What can we do? Aamir Khan says in an ad that there are only two people who can bring the change—YOU and ME. I have been thinking about this incident since I have started my day this morning and I am looking for these answers. How can ‘you’ and ‘me’ stop such heinous acts and how can we free our mother earth from these devils who don’t even spare faces of God; our future; our little angels?

Do you have an answer? Please come up, my mind has ceased to work after this incident.

Bachpan…

Sabse suhana hota hai bachpan,
Na chaho to bhi hamesha yaad aata hai bachpan.
Wo sharatein, wo atkheliyaan,
Wo andhere ki aankh-michauliyaan.
Sabse suhana hota hai bachpan,
Na chaho to bhi hamesha yaad aata hai bachpan.
Wo Ma ke haaton ka khana, wo sukun se sona,
Wo bhai-behen se jhagare, kabhi ruthna-kabhi manana.
Sabse suhana hota hai bachpan,
Na chaho to bhi hamesha yaad aata hai bachpan.
Wo saadgi, wo sacchaee, jhooth ka na tha namoneeshaan,
Kahan gaye wo din jab chhuut ta nahi tha aashiyaan.
Sabse suhana hota hai bachpan,
Na chaho to bhi hamesha yaad aata hai bachpan.
Wo doston ke ghar khana khana, khelna gilli-danada dhale sham,
Bahut yaad aata hai dopahar ka sannata aur chiriyon ka chahahana subah-shaam.
Sabse suhana hota hai bachpan,
Na chaho to bhi hamesha yaad aata hai bachpan.
Bus yaadoon main bas gaya hai wo waqt,
Chah kar bhi laut nahi sakta, de do chahe koi bhi kimat.
Sabse suhana hota hai bachpan,
Na chaho to bhi hamesha yaad aata hai bachpan.
Achha lagta hai uss sukun ko yaad karke, jo tha hamari zindagi ka hissa kabhi,
Abb to iss zindagi mein aata hi hain sukun kabi-kabhi.
Sabse suhana hota hai bachpan,

Na chaho to bhi hamesha yaad aata hai bachpan…
