Do you have an answer?

Horrible, awful, shameful, villainous…

I know we all are busy; busy with work and busy with our lives. But I am sure whosoever read the headlines today must have been shaken, shaken from inside and must have asked a question, why?
We have seen and suffered several militant attacks from a long time. The recent major one being attack at the Taj Hotel, Mumbai where people were killed mercilessly. This time, at some other place; victims being the little ones.
Who has given rights to these monsters to kill the children and that too in such a barbarous way?

I can feel the pain. It’s beyond explanation. I know life seems to have finished apparently for those parents whose little ones are no more. It’s devastating; beyond repair!
After so much pondering, I realized that these creatures won’t change. They are ready to commit all sorts of heinous crimes that one can never imagine in his/her wildest dreams. Then what can we do? Are we so helpless? Can we only sympathize and pay condolences. Maximum we can do is to condemn the act, that’s it? Who can stop these beasts who find bliss in violence?

What can we do? Aamir Khan says in an ad that there are only two people who can bring the change—YOU and ME. I have been thinking about this incident since I have started my day this morning and I am looking for these answers. How can ‘you’ and ‘me’ stop such heinous acts and how can we free our mother earth from these devils who don’t even spare faces of God; our future; our little angels?

Do you have an answer? Please come up, my mind has ceased to work after this incident.

Bachpan…

Sabse suhana hota hai bachpan,
Na chaho to bhi hamesha yaad aata hai bachpan.
Wo sharatein, wo atkheliyaan,
Wo andhere ki aankh-michauliyaan.
Sabse suhana hota hai bachpan,
Na chaho to bhi hamesha yaad aata hai bachpan.
Wo Ma ke haaton ka khana, wo sukun se sona,
Wo bhai-behen se jhagare, kabhi ruthna-kabhi manana.
Sabse suhana hota hai bachpan,
Na chaho to bhi hamesha yaad aata hai bachpan.
Wo saadgi, wo sacchaee, jhooth ka na tha namoneeshaan,
Kahan gaye wo din jab chhuut ta nahi tha aashiyaan.
Sabse suhana hota hai bachpan,
Na chaho to bhi hamesha yaad aata hai bachpan.
Wo doston ke ghar khana khana, khelna gilli-danada dhale sham,
Bahut yaad aata hai dopahar ka sannata aur chiriyon ka chahahana subah-shaam.
Sabse suhana hota hai bachpan,
Na chaho to bhi hamesha yaad aata hai bachpan.
Bus yaadoon main bas gaya hai wo waqt,
Chah kar bhi laut nahi sakta, de do chahe koi bhi kimat.
Sabse suhana hota hai bachpan,
Na chaho to bhi hamesha yaad aata hai bachpan.
Achha lagta hai uss sukun ko yaad karke, jo tha hamari zindagi ka hissa kabhi,
Abb to iss zindagi mein aata hi hain sukun kabi-kabhi.
Sabse suhana hota hai bachpan,

Na chaho to bhi hamesha yaad aata hai bachpan…

Trust in yourself works...I mean it!

Since I write mostly about life and my experiences in life, here's yet another piece of life experience from my side.
Whenever we decide to venture into something new in life, we feel cautious, generally. We try to make that transition very very smooth and also try to make sure that the new change is better than before, isn't it? This feeling also varies with your status in life—single, married, and parent, old age, and so on. I find the most difficult status as “parent”, reason being, your decision impacts not only you but your entire family.
I have been through such mental turmoil  months back. Dilemma, dilemma, and dilemma... Should I or shouldn't I?
After judging from all ends, after cross-checking everything and the introspecting the impact on me, my princess, and her future, I collected the strength to plunge in hoping I would never regret my decision ever.
The transition is over. I am into a new phase, taking new assignments, new tasks as well as managing my little princess, home and family as a whole. God gives you strength, I guess. Things which seem impossible becomes manageable.
I cannot draw a conclusion now as it is too early to do so but with my experiences, I can suggest one thing to all working mothers like me—Do not loose the courage to accept challenges in life. It's a very short life. Your kids will learn from you. If you will feel defeated, they will learn the same. Have faith in God. If you have trust in yourself and your work you can very well go ahead in life no matter what way situation turns.
Just wait for the right time to implement your plans, that's it.

So be sure when you step, Step with care and great tact. And remember that life's A Great Balancing Act. And will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and ¾ percent guaranteed) Kid, you'll move mountains.”

Keep Smiling!!

One afternoon, felt like writing something. Here's what I wrote:

Life is a mixed bag
Agree or not!
Sometimes straight, sometimes zig and zag
Who has come has to go one day
Why give a chance to sorrow to kill us all day
Face new challenges, hope for the best
Everything will be alright, leave the rest
Be good, do good to others
Certainly it will come back to you
What you have done for others
Just go on my friend without falling
Keep your life punch line as “Keep Smiling”
This is for my bundle of joy

Be happy, safe, and always enjoy!!

Altogether different phase in life…

Life has different phases. Agree or not? You have childhood, adulthood, old age n all.

I am in that phase of life where I cannot say myself too young or too old. According to me in this very phase, you can take command over your life fully. No doubt, you will have to face the worst scenarios as well. Ok … coming back to “altogether different phase”. I mean after you are blessed with a baby, you life suddenly changes. I am living an independent life from very early in my life. Initially I was not happy with the change that is to part from your family and study but later on I encouraged myself to prove myself to my parents. I wanted to live up to their dreams. I tried my best. I cannot say I achieved all I wanted but I am satisfied now with what I have. At least I am not a burden on anybody.  The best part is my job allows me to continue my process of learning which I always wanted.

Now, I handle all—myself, my family, my baby, my job…huh! Don’t know how am I doing this but all because of love and support from family and blessings of God. I want to be like this always. I mean have challenges in life and overcome those challenges. Sometimes I am torn apart by various thoughts--Should I work or not work? But I feel God will do everything right. He will show me the right path.

So I can say this is the phase of love, struggle, success, learning, zeal…..
